Welcome to Napa Home & Garden, Since you are reading this we congratulate you on surviving 2009. We are also still standing, for which we thank you all, and we have been very busy ramping up our product line for better times ahead. There is something about fire that people find fascinating. First it was chimaeras, then fire pits, and now the rage is gel burners, which we call NAPA FireLites. The new generation burners use a pourable fuel gel that is easy and economical to use and are made in a wide range of shapes and colorful glazes. When in use they are more interesting than a candle. When not in use, they are an attractive item of home décor. We started shipping our FireLites in December and they were an instant success. With incredible wholesale prices, they fit any pocket book and work as well for the gift buyer as for the home decorator. Our NapaFire takes pourable gel fuel to a new level. It is the first fuel made from recycled waste material, which makes it greener and less toxic than fuels made from carbon based products. And it is made in the USA. The great thing about FireLites is that they create an annuity for your store. Most customers initially buy two bottles of fuel with each burner, then come back indefinitely for refills. The fuel gel tail will soon be wagging your FireLite dog all the way to the bank! We have added a new artist to our team, Betty Sewell, a versatile and accomplished painter and designer from Austin, Texas, who has designed two striking new iron collections. Vin Rose incorporates beautiful rust finished roses into an assortment of wine racks and holders, a cheese server, hurricane, paper weights and napkin rings. The Bouchon Collection use leafs for candle holders, a wine rack, cheese server, napkin holder and wine corks. You will be impressed by the substantial feel and exquisite detail of these pieces. Betty’s collection merchandises very nicely with our new Castillian Collection of metal and glass. The very substantial hurricanes, candle holders, wine glasses and napkin rings make a dramatic statement and are complimented by the clean simplicity of our Castillian glassware. Our Left Bank Collection is an eclectic mix of glass and metal designs, all at attractive price points, that have in common a classically French look and feel. La Maison Collection is a new serve ware collection combining white porcelain and pewter finish. The pieces have the look and feel of made-in-Europe but with prices that will reach a much wider market. We continue to expand our wildly popular Preserved Greens offering. With over 50 items, it is by far the broadest selection in the market. When the phone rang and we were told The White House was on the line we assumed it was a prank. Now we are proud to report that our large wreaths and custom garland (30 feet long) were actually used to decorate The White House last Christmas. Our line of Italian and French style ceramics continues to expand. The hot new trend color for 2010 is Lavender and we there with our Provencal Collection in Lavender. Thank to the Atlanta Show last summer in our “Love It or Leave It” test in the showroom. We have added a very French collection with heavy white glazes we call French Linen. And we have added to the Echelon and Chartreuse collection, as well. We have been very busy in the garden side. We have completely reinvented our popular Garden Relics line with over 30 new designs and three new finishes: an antique terracotta finish, a new and improved moss finish and a new and improved stone finish. We have added many pieces to our unique collection of terra cotta and white clay moss pots. In addition to large statement pieces, here too we are reaching a wide audience with our new line of Mini pots. And of course there are more pots and vases: The Vintage Collection of glazed stoneware that sold out instantly when introduced last summer, new Fibreclay, new TerrazzoLite, new Helmut Dirr ceramics and much, much more. Thanks again for your continued support and may 2010 be a success for all of us. Our very best, KC & Jerry Cunningham
